Top of the Notch Restaurant & Bar
After a 15 minute ride on the Sugarpine Chair Lift, guests arrive to the Top of the Notch at 7,800ft. With a rich history beginning in the 1950s, the Top of the Notch provides a unique dining experience overlooking Southern California. Guests from San Bernardino, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties along with others enjoy nourishment at the Notch while experiencing all that the Angeles National Forest has to offer.
Our kitchen serves a hearty continental breakfast buffet from 8am – 11am with eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy and fresh fruit. Our lunch menu including burgers and sandwiches is available from 11am – 5pm. Sunset Prix Fixe dinners are available most weekend nights. Appetizers are served at 6:30and the main course at 7:00, reservations required. Daily availability changes for each menu based on the season. Be sure check current operating hours.
Our bar proudly serves local craft beer along with house wines. If craft beer is speaking your language, check out the Battle of the Brews on Sundays through the spring and summer.
The Notch dining area consists of a large indoor space along with a wrap around patio. Our patio is the place to be in the warm months!
